Pothole Reporter

Pothole Reporter was developed as a waste minimisation tool within the highways maintenance industry. MTS have extensive experience setting up waste management and recycling operations within highways and if the highway asset could be managed to reduce the volumes requiring excavation significant cost savings can be achieved.

Potholes are a major problem for the UK highways network and there are many pothole products and solutions. Some are more effective than others but the length of time a pothole solution is in place is rarely monitored and data collected by County Councils and contractors is poor. MTS built pothole reporter to 'time-stamp' every pothole fix so that the length of time between each pothole fix can be monitored.

In time we hope that County Councils are able to further refine the integrated pothole repair management approach using different products where they are most effective.

Futhermore, pothole reporter is designed to 'close the loop' between the pothole identifier which could be a member of the general public and when the pothole is fixed the originator will be notified.
